I say "Go for It!" I think you should most definitely get AGT #14 for your birthday with your gift money from your parents!
Do not feel silly or odd for wanting to use gift money for a doll no matter what your age! I'm 34 and I've been collecting dolls since I was 9. Before I married my DH, my now mother-in-law got me for Christmas & birthdays, over a few years, the Wizard of Oz series of Madame Alexander dolls. I cherish these immensely because it was such a thoughtful gift for her to want to welcome me into the family (they're all Kansans) and to show that she appreciated my hobbies & thus me for who I am.
My DH's grandpa also gives us all cash gifts at Christmas and I always use this money for a fun item for just me & I never feel guilty about it. Last year it was Marisol and I'm sure that if grandad is so generous with us all again this year, I'll likely get another doll with this fun money.
It is so great that you are going to get a doll for yourself! Enjoy every minute of fun with your new beauty!
Oh, and don't forget to post pictures for us all too so we can share in your happiness!

This sounds like the doll would be a very special gift. Something that you really want and associating it with your parents' loving gift of money. I think that your parents would be very pleased! [img]smile.gif[/img]
